    What will I be doing?

    FULL TIME 7.5t COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVER** required for collections of clinical waste & sharps containers from residential homes, hospitals, universities, clinics etc. Other tasks within the yard and warehouse may be required ie: loading/unloading of vehicles as the business needs require.

    Vehicle licence requirements:

    Key Tasks & Expectations

    • To contact Customer before delivery or collection of a vehicle
    • To collect and deliver vehicles on time and in accordance with instructions
    • To check and record damaged areas on the vehicle using the MyFleet video system
    • To assess any other damaged areas on the vehicle and arrange for a private quote from our estimating team
    • To inspect customer driving licences and take credit card details prior to releasing the courtesy car using MyFleet

    The Role & Responsibilities

    You will be driving our modern, large electric vans (Luton/Box) and are responsible for the safe and timely collection of goods.

    • Execute scheduled routes, ensuring goods arrive at the hub on time.
    • Loading & Unloading various items, including parcels, cages, and occasionally heavy items/furniture.
    • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment like pallet trucks.
    • Accurately scan consignments and complete digital records.
    • Provide professional and courteous service to our customers.

    Pay & Schedule

    • Pay Rate: £14.50 – £15.00 per hour (or Block Pay depending on the shift).
    • Contract: 0-Hour Worker Contract (Flexible shifts, paid bi-weekly).
    • Shifts: 9-11 hours in length, available 7 days a week.
    • Start Times: Various starts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
    • Location: All shifts start and end at our Silvertown, London depot.

    Requirements

    • Must be 21 years or older.
