    Salary: £14.39. Per Hour £33,668. per annum

    Hours: 45hrs

    Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday ( Saturdays on rotational basis)

    Shift times: 05:00 -15:30

    As a Van Driver at our Dagenham Depot, you will be the face of our business, delivering fresh produce to multiple locations throughout the day. You will be supported by the Bicester Warehouse Team who will pre-pick your deliveries for you, so you can focus on delivering!

    Your route might not be the same from one day to the next, but we can guarantee you’ll meet a variety of customers along the way. You will also be responsible for regular checks on your multi-temperature van and DVSA compliance. Your journey with us will start with a full induction, and there is even potential down the line to access our HGV Development Programme, the sky’s the limit.

    What you will be doing:

    • Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
    • Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers’ packages get to the right place, on time
    • Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
    • Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

  • Parts Delivery Driver

    Salary: £26,070.00

    Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Delivery Driver to join our Parts Distribution Centre on Hall Road, Norwich. This role is to cover the hours Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 3:30pm, 30 minutes for lunch.

    Based at our busy Parts Distribution Centre in Norwich you will be responsible for delivering parts to our customers and will prepare your van for departure and then make deliveries according to a pre-defined route.

    Multi Drop Van Driver

    Based at Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, Unit 33 Rochester Airport Industrial Estate, Laker Road, Rochester, ME1 3QX

    Starting at 0730, Monday to Saturday (Wednesday is a rest day)

    Salary: £26,200.57 based on 40 hours per week and £31,449.60 based on 48 hours per week.

    As a delivery and collection driver, you’ll make collections and deliveries to GP surgeries, retail pharmacies, wholesalers and hospitals. You will also be required to make deliveries to patients and on occasion assist them with the rotation and return of stock items, for this we are looking for applicants who can demonstrate excellent levels of customer service.

    As a delivery driver multi drop you’ll work a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature.

    As a delivery and collection driver you may expect to work on average 48-52 hours per week.

    Position: Class 1 Driver
    Contract Type: Permanent– 45 hours per week
    Shift: Monday-Friday / 11am – 9pm

    Salary: £41,535

    About the role:

    You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They’re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure you’re comfortable.

    Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 5/6pm. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you’ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.

    Key Role Responsibilities

    We don’t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. This job involves trunking to regional hubs on the night shift. So, if you like the independence of being out on the open road for long stretches – but also want to be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift, this is the job for you.

    You’ll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you – at others, you’ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.

    You’ll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

    You will make sure everything is ‘right first time’ for your customers, both internal and external, and as a great communicator, you’ll work hard to keep customers happy, making sure any queries you can’t answer, are passed on to your site manager quickly.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Class 1 Driving licence as a minimum
    • Driver CPC qualification card
    • Completed required DCPC training hours or be working towards them
    • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws – and commitment to safe use of the roads

    This is an agency role and would be working 3-5 days a week.
