    About the role:

    This role ensures the day-to-day support of Drivers, including conducting briefs and debriefs. You will also support and manage customer calls, assisting with a range of queries, as well as complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and risk assessments.

    Key Role Responsibilities:

    • Facilitating inbound and outbound deliveries
    • Driver brief and debrief with scanners
    • Handling driver and customer queries
    • Handling and sorting of parcels
    • Data inputting and administrative duties
    • Taking and managing customer calls

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to work well under pressure

    WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

    As part of your normal duties, you will:

    • Carry out driving and delivering cars and small vans (3.5 Tonne) from the Milton Keynes site to customer locations/houses
    • Provision of first class safe, efficient and customer focused delivery and collection services with DHL’s customers and Networks
    • Conduct collections and deliveries in accordance with the plan and/or instructions from the customer
    • Ensure all delivery documentation and electronic POD’s are completed accurately and in real time
    • To route plan your journey’s, including use of public transport (if required) to get back to site or key to key service
    • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
    • To conduct a full and thorough pre-shift inspection (OPS13) of vehicles and trailers in advance of their operation and to comply with the DHL defect reporting process, ensuring all defective vehicles, trailers and equipment are reported immediately

    WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

    • You will need to hold a clean valid Car Driving License (B) , with at least 3 years of actual driving experience.
    • Be over the age of 25 (due to insurance purposes)
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Strong time management
    • Able to utilise public transport as and when needed
    • Working understanding of legal requirements, highway code and road traffic act
    • Experience within the industry preferred but not essential as full training will be given

    We’re looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Maintenance Depot Driver at our TrainCare Centre. In this role, you’ll be right on track, taking control and ensuring everything runs smoothly, ensuring trains are prepared and ready for service so our customers get the best ride, every time. You’ll be the key to keeping everything running like clockwork, moving trains safely and efficiently, and ensuring they leave the TrainCare centre on time, every time.

    • Fuelling trains & Replenishing water tanks, keeping the essentials topped up.

  • LGV C+E / C Driver – Drayman

    Pay Rate: £40,484 per annum

    Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 04:00-07:00 starts

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

    • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) Driving licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
    • Duties involve the delivery of alcoholic beverages – previous dray experience is an advantage
    • Role involve heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels of beer – including deliveries to public house cellars
    • Shift is Monday to Friday and start times are available between 04:00-07:00
    • Candidates are contacted to work a minimum of 6 Saturdays per year
    • Carry out between 10-17 drops -to public houses – work involves manual handling and working with a drivers mate
    • Drivers must have a minimum of 6 months on the road HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 driving experience
