Van Driver

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

We are event furniture hire company. We supply various items such as chairs, tables, and other items to the event industry for weddings, corporate jobs etc.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:

– Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and materials

– Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items

– Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries

– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

– Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries

Experience:

– Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred

– Commercial driving experience is a plus

– Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial

– Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks

– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

– Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job

– Require Full UK Driving License for a minimum of 3 years.
